The island of Elba is the third largest island in Italy after Sicily and Sardinia and the largest of the Tuscan archipelago consisting of Pianosa, Capraia, Gorgona, Montecristo and Giglio. The island of Elba is situated between the Ligurian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea and away from the "mainland" about 10 miles.

The property DAMIANI & ROBERTSON, immersed in the maquis in the village of Procchio, is composed of the villa "Il Gelso" and the small rustic "Rosa dei Venti”

The villa "Il Gelso" is divided into three independent apartments: " IL GELSO ", " STELLA MARIS", "IL BUGI”. All our apartments have a garden or patio with table  and chairs to enjoy  and relax outdoors. Each apartment has a private parking space.

Our property with its four apartments is located about 100 meters from the village of Procchio and 200 m from the homonymous gulf, with its sandy beach and clear blue sea.

The beach Procchio with its 1000 meters of extension is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches of the island and is divided into three parts: Procchio, Campo all’Aia and Guardiola. A wooden walkway that runs along the northeast side of the Gulf linking the three locations makes it pleasant the way to the beach by day and offers  "romantic" walks by night to reach  restaurants and bars.

The Gulf is characterized by shallow water that extends for several meters from the beach and is ideal and safe for children. On both sides  the rocks frame the  beach. It 's a lovely place to spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Thanks to Procchio central location  you are within easy reach from our apartments of the most beautiful historical and naturalistic places.

Procchio offers the most important services: bank, pharmacy, medical center, post office, grocery, supermarket, bars, restaurants, newspapers, tobacconist’s, bathing establishments,  bicycles, motorbikes and cars rental etc. In the  covered square called " Procchio’s  living room" in the evening are often organized musical and cultural events. A few  meters from the square is the park  for children and for older  where  various activities are carried out such as food festivals.
